Butterfly Kisses and I Loved Her First. Two daddy songs that are sure to make the emotional, senti ones cry like I did!

Back when I was in high school, my friend Nikki introduced me to the song Butterfly Kisses. On a road trip to Lago De Oro with her and some of our friends, she played the song and introduced it as her dad's song to her. Being the emotional person that I am, of course I cried! It's such a sentimental song, and once the image of your own dad comes into mind while listening to it, wala na! There goes the tears.

Here's a lyric video of Butterfly Kisses. Might come out as extra cheesy to some, but I will forever find it to be sweet and sad.

A few weeks back naman, my cousins Miggy and Mari introduced me to another song called I Loved Her First. It's a father's song to the man his daughter will marry. It didn't hit me as hard as Butterfly Kisses did, probably because the song isn't really addressed to the daughter. But I still teared anyway. Haha watch it!
